(1) On or after January 1, 1986, a permit must be obtained from the City Council, for the burning of any fields upon which perennial grass seed crops have been or will be planted and harvested.

(2) The applicant must make his or her application to the City Clerk, the application must be approved by the City Council, and the application must be accompanied by a $50.00 permit fee, which will be returned upon the permit being denied.

(3) The permit must be obtained in addition to any permits required to be obtained pursuant to State statutes. (Ord. 45 § 4, passed 10-8-1985; Code 2014 § 90.04)
