(1) The City shall then prepare the assessment for each individual lot and property owner, if any, and mail the assessment to each owner.

(2) Each notice of assessment shall denote a date by which objections shall be filed with the Recorder by the property owner or owners so assessed.

(3) The Council shall consider any such objections, can adopt, correct or modify the assessment and can determine the amount of the assessment to be charged against each lot.

(4) The City Council shall then by ordinance spread the assessment. (Ord. 25 § 5, passed 1978; Code 2014 § 30.05)
