Where an industrial user, subject to a categorical pretreatment standard, has not previously submitted a permit application as required by MMC 10.20.170, the industrial user shall file a permit application with the City within 180 days after the promulgation of the applicable categorical pretreatment standard by the EPA. In addition, any industrial user operating on the basis of a previous filing of a permit application shall submit to the City within 180 days after the promulgation of an applicable categorical pretreatment standard a permit application, and the additional information required by MMC 10.20.170(8) and (9). If deemed necessary by the City, where categorical pretreatment standards are more stringent, the wastewater discharge permit will be modified.
