Any person violating any of the provisions of this code relating to the planting, pruning, trimming, or removal of trees shall be strictly liable for such violations and punished under the general penalty provided for in Chapter 1.20 MMC. Proof of a specific criminal intent shall not be required. Any violation of this chapter which affects an individual tree shall be a separate offense. (Ord. 165, passed 10-8-2019)
