(1) This chapter does not apply if the vehicle is legally parked. This chapter also does not apply to persons participating in a “pedestrian activity,” as defined by OAR Chapter 734, Division 58, for which a permit has been issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation, so long as all terms of such permit are being met.

(2) This chapter does not apply to fundraising events sponsored by a nonprofit organization, where appropriate right-of-way permits have been received from the jurisdiction having roadway authority. (Ord. 176, passed 9-8-2020)
